Eastern Health is excited to offer a part-time, fixed-term Parental Leave Cover opportunity for an experienced registered nurse. The role involves delivering care to patients outside hospital walls, including home visits, telehealth, and clinic-based support at Maroondah Hospital.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum 5 years acute medical/surgical post-registration nursing experience or nursing specialty equivalent.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence - without restriction.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrated initiative and self-direction.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in their home, via telehealth and in the HITH clinic at Maroondah Hospital.
• Perform NPWT dressings and complex wound management.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and assist in discharge planning.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to provide care for Eastern Health patients outside hospital walls.

HITH manages a range of patients including surgical, medical and specialty medicine. You will be providing care in the patient’s home, via telehealth and within the HITH clinic at Maroondah Hospital.

The position requires you to be an enthusiastic team player, who is highly resourceful, has strong time management and excellent communication skills, experience in assessment,interdisicplinarycare provision and the ability toassistin dischargeplannningfor this patient population.

This position involves:

• NPWT Dressings
• Complex wound management
