Job summary

Kingpin Canberra is seeking a dedicated cook to join our high-volume kitchen team in the venue. You will help deliver our menu with speed and consistency, from burgers and nachos to canapes for events, especially during busy evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on kitchen experience, a strong knowledge of food safety, and a passion for guest delight. You’ll work under the Venue Manager to ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a memorable Kingpin experience.

Qualifications

• A dedicated hands on & hard-working cook/chef with experience in a high-volume café or food outlet.
• A speedy learner with a superb knowledge of food safety principles - safety is the recipe to success!
• Passionate and dedicated to guest experience & ensuring everyone leaves your venue with a big smile! (we are OBSESSED with our guests!)

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of our kitchen team, bringing our spectacular menu to the plate with a strong focus on speed and consistency.
• Bring to life our expansive food range from freshly grilled burgers to nachos and share plates, all the way to gourmet canapes for our corporate events!
• Our busiest times are evenings and weekends, availability for these times is highly regarded.
• You will be supported by and also provide support to the Venue Manager and have a razor‑sharp focus on ensuring our guest experience is second to none.
