Job summary

Inghams Chickens is seeking experienced High-Reach Forklift Operators to support our Lytton Distribution Centre in Queensland. You will perform picking/packing, loading and unloading, using RF scanners, and operate forklifts within a chilled environment.

Candidates must hold a current LF/LO license with at least 12 months’ experience and have High Reach/Counterbalance forklift experience. The role offers immediate start and onsite parking, with opportunities for career development within a

Qualifications

Current LF/LO forklift license with at least 12 months experience.
High Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience is required.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
Good written and verbal communication; reliable and motivated.
Capable of working in a chiller/freezer environment.
Physically fit and able to repetitively lift up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

Operate High Reach/LO stock-picker/Counterbalance forklift safely.
Unload/load inbound and outbound stock and stack pallets efficiently.
Conduct quality checks, report variances and ensure shipment accuracy.
Use RF scanners for picking and packing tasks; forklifts required for all roles.
Perform manual handling: lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching.
Identify and escalate food safety and quality hazards or risks.
