Job summary

Haverick Meats is seeking an experienced, skilled, and reliable High Reach Forklift Driver to join our warehousing team. This casual position offers the potential to become permanent and is based in Botany, NSW 2019.

The role involves daily activities such as moving goods, inventory checks, and coordinating with Production using RF scanning. We require a current High Reach Forklift Licence (NSW) and proven forklift experience in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid High Reach Forklift Licence (NSW) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience operating high reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards related to forklift operation.
• Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operation checks on forklift equipment and RF scanner to ensure safety features function.
• Operate high reach forklift safely to move, stack, and store products within the warehouse using RF scanner.
• Transport goods between loading area, storage, dispatch and Production while maintaining safety protocols.
• Stack products to maximum heights per warehouse specs and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records and note any damage or discrepancies, ensuring RF scans update daily.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, policies, and warehouse procedures.
• Collaborate with team to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
• Perform general housekeeping to keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe.
