Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid High Reach Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one with support).
• Proven experience operating hi-reach or similar aerial work platforms in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to work at height and manage the physical demands of the role.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling and recording inventory.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software (desirable).
• Previous experience in warehousing, distribution or manufacturing environments (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate hi-reach forklifts safely and efficiently to retrieve, place and organise products within the warehouse storage systems
• Follow all workplace health and safety protocols, including conducting pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
• Stack and unstack goods at height with precision, ensuring proper load securing and warehouse organisation
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and product locations using warehouse management systems
• Assist in the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring all items are correctly identified and documented
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and maintain warehouse efficiency
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly, adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Report any damaged goods, discrepancies or safety concerns to management immediately
• Experience is necessary
