Job summary

Only Quality People has partnered with a global logistics leader to fill casual ongoing forklift operator roles at our Prestons site. We are seeking experienced Counter-Balance and High Reach operators to join a busy warehouse team and help process shipments with RF scanners.

Role requires LF forklift licence, proven forklift experience, and reliable references. The roles offer day shifts with on-site parking and a strong safety culture. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience in a similar role.
• Available to commit to a long-term opportunity.
• Possess exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Hold a current LF Forklift licence.
• Proven work history - able to provide 2 references.

Responsibilities

• Operate counter-balance and high reach forklifts (Crown joystick) safely.
• Conduct receiving, putaways and picking on the forklift (up to 6 bays high).
• Load and unload trucks, move pallets and stage freight.
• Use computers to process shipments within outbound team.
• Use RF scanners and perform general warehouse duties.
• Follow safety procedures and complete manual handling tasks.

High Reach & Counter-Balance Forklift Operators

Only Quality People have partnered with a global forwarding / supply chain market leader who employ over 17,000 people across 100 countries. Due to sustained growth and acquisitions, our client based in Prestons are seeking casual ongoing counter-balance & high reach forklift operators to join the team.

About the role:

• $38.23 p/h | High Reach Forklift Operator | 9am to 5pm
• $36.66 p/h | Counter-Balance Forklift Operator | 9:30am to 5:30pm
• Responsible for the day to day operations of counter-balance & high reach forklifts (Crown Joystick)
• Conducting receiving, putaways, picking requirements on the forklift - Up to 6 bays high
• Loading and unloading trucks, running pallets and staging freight
• Utilisation of computers to process shipments within outbound team
• Utilisation of RF scanners and conducting general warehouse duties
• Manual handling / complying and performing all tasks safely

About You:

• Demonstrated forklift experience within a similar role.
• Available to commit to a long term opportunity
• Possess exceptional communication and organisational skills
• Possess an excellent attitude, be highly motivated and results driven
• Hold a current LF Forklift licence
• Proven work history - Able to provide 2 references
