Job summary

CS Courier Transport Ltd, an established Ipswich-based logistics company, is seeking two experienced HGV Drivers to join their team on a self-employed or permanent contract basis. Based in Ipswich, you will undertake daytime deliveries and collections across the UK, typically completing long days.

The role offers a day rate of £210-£230, with Saturdays paid at £260, and an annual package of £54,600-£59,800 depending on arrangement and hours.

Qualifications

• You will be an experienced HGV Driver with at least two years' driving experience and a valid HGV Class C+E licence.
• Strong time management and communication skills are required.
• Commitment to road safety and compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting and collecting cargo in accordance with transport regulations.
• Completing daily deliveries efficiently and on schedule.
• Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects or concerns.
• Communicating effectively with the office team regarding delays or issues.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism.
