Job summary

Northwest Mining based in Muswellbrook Automotive Workshop provides servicing, repairs and maintenance for heavy vehicles and equipment. You will handle routine servicing, defect repairs, and timely job card documentation while attending breakdowns and maintaining safety standards.

Role requires a heavy vehicle trade with 2+ years in a similar role, strong communication, the ability to work independently or in a team, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Heavy vehicle mechanical trade (or similar).
• Heavy vehicle drivers licence (preferred but not essential).
• Heavy vehicle inspection tickets (preferred but not essential).
• 2+ years experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Clear communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Ability to work unsupervised and independently, as well as in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.
• A professional approach to their work.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine servicing on our heavy vehicles, our own vehicles and small equipment.
• Perform defect repairs and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Accurate and timely completion of job cards and client paperwork.
• Attend breakdowns and callouts in a timely manner.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with WHS standards.
