Job summary

Sitrak Trucks Newcastle is seeking a trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for a permanent position at our Heatherbrae workshop, with immediate start. Responsibilities include diagnosis, repair and maintenance of trucks, including pre-delivery inspections and component rebuilds.

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Strong commitment to safety and high quality workmanship.
• Excellent diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain trucks per job cards.
• Conduct regular service and repairs on heavy vehicles.
• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections of new trucks.
• Repair and rebuild components and engines as required.
• Carry out hydraulic and electrical system repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of job cards and timesheets.
