Followmont Transport Pty Ltd in Rockhampton seeks a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to lead their workspace and plan your own schedule. The role offers a full-time permanent position in a busy workshop, with ownership of safety, quality and efficiency across a 1000+ unit fleet.

You will diagnose, repair and service trucks from Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, Isuzu and UD, while supervising a trade assistant. The ideal candidate has a Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology, strong diesel

Qualifications

• Valid qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Certificate III) or equivalent.
• Experience in the Heavy Diesel repair industry.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills.
• Commitment to Safety and Quality Assurance Policies.
