Job summary

ACT Parks and Conservation Service is seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Operator to join its Fire Management team. The role supports bushfire preparedness, fire trail maintenance and land management across the ACT’s parks, reserves and rural landscapes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current manual driver's licence.
• Must be able to undertake the arduous national firefighting task-based assessment (fire fitness).
• Must meet medical requirements and pass the fitness assessment annually.
