PowerToFly is hiring a Workshop Technician for their Mt. Isa branch in Australia. In this role, you'll provide first-class service, complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. Applicants should have a heavy diesel trade qualification, experience as a Diesel Mechanic, solid diagnostic skills, and a valid Australian Driver’s license. The position offers full-time hours and allowances for tools, housing, and relocation for the right candidate.
Qualifications
Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Fitter.
Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
Previous workshop exposure would be highly regarded.
Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities.
Valid Australian Driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
Deliver a first-class service to our customers across automotive, mining, and agriculture.
Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
Diagnose and repair engines.
Inspect and replace components.
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
Ensure adherence to Health Safety & Environmental policies.
