Job summary

PowerToFly is hiring a Workshop Technician for their Mt. Isa branch in Australia. In this role, you'll provide first-class service, complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. Applicants should have a heavy diesel trade qualification, experience as a Diesel Mechanic, solid diagnostic skills, and a valid Australian Driver’s license. The position offers full-time hours and allowances for tools, housing, and relocation for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Fitter.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
• Previous workshop exposure would be highly regarded.
• Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities.
• Valid Australian Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a first-class service to our customers across automotive, mining, and agriculture.
• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
• Diagnose and repair engines.
• Inspect and replace components.
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
• Ensure adherence to Health Safety & Environmental policies.
