Job summary

The Kangaroo Island Health Service invites applications for a part-time Services Assistant role within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. You will perform laundry and support services to ensure clean, safe patient environments on Kangaroo Island.

Work includes linen processing, equipment operation, stock handling and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to sustain high standards of hygiene and patient care across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential laundry and support service duties, including linen processing, distribution, stock handling and maintaining service areas.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to infection prevention, control and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and well-functioning environment that supports patients, staff and visitors.
• Contribute to a positive team culture through ongoing training, continuous improvement and participation in a rotating 7 day roster
