Job summary

Navitas, in Edith Cowan College, seeks an Academic Program Coordinator (Health Science) to lead academic programs and ensure quality outcomes for students. The role collaborates with Edith Cowan University to align curricula and teaching practices with accreditation requirements and university expectations.

The successful candidate will manage teaching staff, review course content for currency, and promote innovative pedagogy while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to support

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in a Health Science discipline or an undergraduate degree with extensive relevant experience.
• Proven ability to contribute to course and curriculum development including meeting accreditation requirements.
• Evidence of academic leadership in teaching and/or curriculum design.
• Experience delivering high-quality innovative teaching at the tertiary level.
• Experience contributing to scholarly approaches to teaching and learning.
• Ability to collaborate with academic and administrative staff across the college and senior university academics.
• Proficiency with MS Office and learning management systems (Moodle, Canvas).

Responsibilities

• Oversees the student experience and manages teaching staff.
• Reviews course content regularly to ensure courses are current for university study.
• Ensures programs and units meet accreditation requirements, including major course reviews.
• Builds and maintains relationships with key contacts at Edith Cowan University.
• Demonstrates passion and drive for learning and teaching to enhance student outcomes.
