Nu-Tank is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Officer for a permanent full-time role in Australia. The position involves planning, managing and reviewing WHS programs, developing safety policies, and ensuring staff adherence to procedures.

The ideal candidate has a Health and Safety degree or background; WHS certification is desirable. Strong organizational skills, reporting, and communication are essential, with a salary range of AUD 75,000–85,000 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Health and Safety degree or background required.
• Certificate in WHS highly desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and review the performance of WHS programs.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety briefings for staff and safety inspections of workplaces.
• Provide advice on work-related health and safety risks.
• Report, investigate and help manage accidents.
• Ensure workplace complies with safety standards and legislation.
• Conduct training on personal protective equipment and safe working procedures.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure breaches are reported.
