Job summary

West Moreton Health in Ipswich is seeking a data analytics professional to contribute to the organisation's evolving data needs, focusing on requirements analysis, data sourcing, data mining and developing business intelligence reports and dashboards to support patient care and operational performance.

The role will help institute new data collection policies and programs from the ground up, train end users on BI solutions, and partner with clinicians and managers to improve decision making

Qualifications

• Experience in statistical analysis of health data to support decision making.
• Experience providing end-user training for BI reports and dashboards.
• Ability to present data visually with analytics and decision support concepts.
• Ability to reason through technical problems and develop efficient solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data sources and develop BI reports and dashboards to support patient care and operations.
• Support data collection practices by instituting new policies and programs.
• Conduct requirements analysis and work with users to implement BI solutions.
• Collaborate with clinicians and managers to improve decision making through visual analytics.
