Job summary

Health Services Union NSW/ACT/QLD is seeking a Communications Adviser to join our Communications team. You’ll inform members about workplace issues and support campaigns with written, visual and multimedia content.

The role involves coordinating content across the HSU website, email, social media and events, and working with external providers as needed. Based in Sydney CBD, it is a full-time permanent position.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a broad communications role delivering across multiple channels.
• Experience supporting campaigns, projects or organisational initiatives through planning and content development.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide communications advice to assigned operational divisions and leaders.
• Develop campaign communication plans with messages, audiences and channels.
• Produce written, visual and multimedia content for campaigns, member communications, events.
• Coordinate content across website, email, social media and other channels.
• Coordinate production and distribution of communication materials and briefs.
• Review outcomes using analytics and feedback for improvements.
