Job summary

Northlakes High School is seeking a Head Teacher Special Education to lead inclusive learning for students with disabilities and to drive educational excellence across the school. The role focuses on collaborative leadership, curriculum adaptation, and data-informed planning in partnership with the Adaptive Learning Centre and TLC.

Qualifications

• General Selection Criteria includes evidence of strong teaching practice and ability to lead improvements in teaching and learning.
• Ability to design inclusive, high-quality teaching programs aligned with curriculum and student welfare.
• Educational leadership to develop and manage performance of staff and teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff and parents.
• Ability to plan and manage resources to support teaching and learning.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal education policy.
