Job summary

The State of Victoria is seeking a Manager, Compliance to lead the Regulator's worker screening compliance function. You will set the compliance plan, priorities and programs, and lead a team of Senior Regulatory Officers and Regulatory Officers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading regulatory compliance teams and managing performance.
• Strong investigative and analytical capabilities with sound judgement.
• Knowledge of the Worker Screening Act 2020 (Vic) or equivalent framework.
• Ability to implement compliance plans and enforce standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the worker screening compliance function and deliver the compliance plan.
• Develop and manage a team of Senior Regulatory Officers and Regulatory Officers.
• Oversee complex investigations into suspected non-compliance by employers and agencies.
• Ensure proportionate and defensible regulatory actions and high-quality decisions.
• Collaborate with the Director and Intelligence to drive an intelligence-led approach.
