About the Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the global tax function for Steadfast Group and its subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions. The Head of Tax will ensure compliance, optimize tax positions, and provide strategic advice on business decisions, including M&A and cross-border arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global tax strategies aligned with the Group’s business objectives.
  • Advise senior management on tax implications of key business decisions, including M&A and international structuring.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and oversee accurate, timely preparation of corporate tax, GST, transfer pricing, and statutory filings.
  • Monitor and implement changes in tax legislation, including Country-by-Country and Pillar 2 reporting requirements.
  • Lead and develop the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Australian tax legislation and international tax principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • CA/CPA qualification required; CTA and/or Master of Tax highly desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in tax with international exposure and leadership responsibilities in global operations.
