Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is leading the way in shaping a sustainable future for real estate. Our Sustainability Services business in APAC delivers advisory, certification, technical engineering, compliance, voluntary reporting, and asset optimization services for our clients.

We are seeking a Head of Sustainability Program Management (SPM) to join our Asia Pacific Sustainability Services team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving growth, excellence, and innovation across one of our key service verticals.

You will oversee a team of 20+ sustainability consultants delivering account-based and variable sustainability services for occupier and investor clients, often integrated with IFM and other real estate solutions. Working closely with the APAC Head of Sustainability & ESG, and other Sustainability Services teams, you will shape and execute the regional sustainability strategy, ensuring best-in-class delivery and measurable impact.

We are flexible regarding location; Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Canberra talent is welcome to explore.

Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for Sustainability Program Management.
  • Drive business growth with existing and new clients, achieving revenue and EBITDA targets.
  • Unlock cross-service opportunities with different areas of the C&W business.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of sustainability professionals.
  • Set and maintain standards for service delivery across APAC.
  • Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Build an inclusive, collaborative team culture focused on excellence.
  • Scale best practices and deploy digital tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Foster technical expertise through centers of excellence and capability development.
  • Act as the central point of contact for sustainability subject matter expertise.
  • Lead sustainability-related bid responses and business development initiatives.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to drive impact and growth.

About You

  • Experience: 10+ years in sustainability and ESG within the real estate industry.
  • Technical Background: Preferred experience across engineering, science, IFM, Sustainable Operations, Program Management or similar.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and budgets, with strong commercial acumen.
  • Business Development: Skilled in solutions selling and growth strategy execution.
  • Collaboration: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mindset: Strategic thinker with a “can-do” attitude and a passion for creating positive impact.
