Job summary

Hilltops Council seeks an experienced Manager Recreation, Environment & Facilities to lead open spaces, environmental programs and facilities across the Hilltops region.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee maintenance and capital works, and provide specialist environmental advice to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with legislative and community expectations. Applications close 5pm on 2 November 2026.

• Seasoned leader with broad environmental/recreation experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive programs

• Lead planning, delivery and continuous improvement of open spaces, environmental programs and facilities.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams; oversee maintenance and capital works programs.
