Job summary

Radiology SA (RSA) is seeking a Head of Radiography to strengthen workforce capability, technical excellence, and professional practice across the Radiography team. You will lead, develop staff, and champion advanced imaging technologies to deliver high-quality patient care.

Reporting to Clinic Operations and partnering with leadership, you will oversee protocols, standards, and strategic improvements while maintaining a strong clinical focus and staff development within RSA’s Adelaide clinics.

• Provide clinical leadership to the Radiography team, fostering engagement, capability, and a culture of excellence.
• Act as the clinical owner of Radiography protocols, with responsibility for protocol oversight and approval.
• Drive high clinical standards and quality outcomes aligned with RSA’s clinical objectives and patient care standards.
• Support continuous professional development and capability uplift across the Radiography workforce.
• Contribute to business strategy, recommending operational improvements and innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and align with broader organisational goals.
• Champion the safe and effective integration of advanced technologies and imaging practices.
• Maintain accountability for modality performance, overseeing clinical and workforce development outcomes while monitoring KPIs to ensure the effective, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of high-quality services across the modality.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives, innovation, and departmental priorities.

About theOpportunity

The Head of Radiography will play a key role in strengthening workforce capability, technical excellence, and professional practice across the Radiography team.

Working in partnership with the Clinic Operations Manager, this role will maintain a strong clinical focus, supporting the delivery of high-quality radiography services, fostering staff development, and promoting exceptional patient care and service outcomes.
