Job summary

News Corp Australia appoints an experienced digital technology leader to own the technology strategy for publishing and distribution across 30 brands, delivering world-class web and app experiences. You will drive resilient, secure platforms while enabling reuse via APIs and shared services, reporting to senior editorial, product and commercial leaders.

You will build autonomous squads, shape capability, and partner with executive teams to steer transformation in a complex media environment

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology at scale for consumer platforms.
• Track record in publishing, media, or high-volume environments.
• Owning roadmaps and outcomes across multiple products/brands.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Publishing & Distribution technology strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Own end-to-end delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of the value stream.
• Lead a matrix team of engineers, product and editorial partners to maximize reuse and reduce duplication.
