Job summary

DroneShield in Sydney seeks a Director of Product to lead the product organisation across software and hardware. You will manage a product team of 8–10, shaping strategy, roadmaps and execution while partnering with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Executives to deliver customer-focused capabilities.

Reporting to the CTO, you will uplift product thinking, implement frameworks, and ensure delivery against commitments in a fast-growing, defence-connected market.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of product management experience with leadership responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Strong understanding of software and hardware development lifecycles.
• Proven ability to build or mature product organisations and processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and commercial domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the full product team (Product Managers, Product Owners, Communications).
• Define and maintain product direction in line with company strategy and CTO input.
• Own roadmaps across all product lines and balance investment with delivery.
