Head of Organisational Development and People Potential

Join the SGCH Senior Leadership team as a key leader in transforming culture, building leadership capability, and creating a workplace of choice.

Benefits include non‑for‑profit salary packaging up to $15,900 per year tax‑free, an additional $2,500 for meals, entertainment and accommodation, health and wellbeing programs, paid parental leave and other bonus leave, great office locations with hybrid working, and regular travel to SGCH office locations.

About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Drive initiatives that foster a high‑performing, highly engaged workforce.
  • Design innovative programs, coaching frameworks, and career pathways.
  • Shape talent strategy, implement talent mapping, succession planning, and internal mobility.
  • Champion wellbeing and embed psychosocial safety, cultural competency, and RAP commitments.
  • Drive transformation and change management to future‑prove SGCH.
  • Deliver engagement programs, digital learning ecosystems, and recognition strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Future‑focused, strategic thinker with tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in OD, talent management, and leadership development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of remuneration and benefits frameworks, including benchmarking, policy development, and aligning reward strategies with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in leveraging HR analytics and emerging technologies to inform strategic workforce planning and improve employee experience.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and change leadership capabilities, with experience in acquisition and merger integration strategies, including cultural alignment and workforce planning.
