About the role and you

The Head of Operations – Ballpark reports to the CEO – Ballpark and leads the delivery team responsible for bringing Ballpark’s events, incentive programs, ticketing and hospitality experiences to life. This senior role combines oversight with hands‑on execution, improving communication, collaboration and operational structure across the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee delivery of event, incentive, ticketing and hospitality programmes.
  • Drive confidence with clients, enhance team performance and develop scalable processes.
  • Ensure operational excellence across communication, collaboration and resources.
Ideal candidate
  • Proven senior operations leadership in live events, sports, entertainment, hospitality and experiences.
  • Track record of delivering complex programmes with tight timelines and high client visibility.
  • Strong people leadership, building high‑performing teams, clear expectations, feedback culture, and talent development.
  • Commercial acumen, budget management, cost optimisation, vendor negotiations and margin discipline.
  • Client‑facing credibility with excellent stakeholder management, communication and issue resolution.
  • Operational risk & compliance knowledge (WHS, venue/permit requirements, crowd management, incident reporting).
  • Tech‑savvy with event/ticketing platforms, production schedules and collaboration tools.
  • Calm under pressure, resilient, highly organised with strong attention to detail.
