About the Company

A rare opportunity to join a major Australian & New Zealand fashion retailer is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Head of Marketing to lead brand, digital and customer strategy across a large omni-channel footprint. With 100+ stores and a rapidly expanding e-commerce channel, the business is known for its trend-driven product, fast-paced environment, and commitment to delivering an engaging, accessible customer experience.

This is a pivotal leadership role within a growing organisation that is investing heavily in brand, digital capability and customer engagement.

Role Purpose

As the Head of Marketing, you will own the end-to-end marketing agenda across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll shape the brand strategy, elevate digital performance, drive customer acquisition and loyalty, and deliver integrated campaigns that translate into commercial growth.

This role blends high-level strategy with hands‑on execution, partnering closely with Product, Retail Operations, E‑commerce and the Executive team.

Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Strategy
  • Lead the annual marketing plan and multi‑banner brand strategy.
  • Strengthen brand positioning within the women’s fashion category across ANZ.
  • Ensure consistency across brand identity, tone, content and visual expression.
  • Lead seasonal GTM planning including campaign direction, storytelling and content.
Digital, Social & Creative
  • Own performance marketing, paid social, SEO/SEM and influencer strategy.
  • Grow traffic and ROAS across Meta, Google, TikTok and emerging platforms.
  • Oversee content production, creative direction and brand‑led campaigns.
CRM, EDM & Loyalty
  • Drive customer segmentation, lifecycle journeys and email marketing strategy.
  • Strengthen loyalty initiatives, database growth and personalisation.
  • Use customer insights and trade performance to drive targeted communication.
E-commerce & Omni‑Channel
  • Partner with E‑commerce to optimise onsite conversion, UX and promotional execution.
  • Align marketing with key trading moments, store traffic drivers and inventory priorities.
  • Leverage analytics to demonstrate connection between marketing activity and sales results.
Retail Marketing & Visual Merchandising
  • Oversee in‑store marketing, VM excellence and campaign execution.
  • Ensure windows, POS and promotional signage align with brand and trading priorities.
  • Collaborate with Operations and State Managers to support store initiatives and events.
Budget, Reporting & Performance
  • Manage the marketing budget and forecasting cadence.
  • Track ROAS, CAC, campaign effectiveness, sales uplift and margin impact.
  • Provide regular performance dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Review agency partnerships and ensure commercial value and ROI.
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Influence
  • Lead, mentor and develop a creative, high‑performing marketing team.
  • Partner with Product, Buying, Retail Ops, Finance, E‑comm and IT.
  • Manage strong agency and vendor relationships across media, creative and production.
Experience & Capabilities
  • 6 + years’ experience in marketing leadership across retail, fashion, beauty or FMCG.
  • Strong track record in digital performance marketing and content‑led brand building.
  • Commercial mindset with understanding of P&L levers, promotional cycles and stock flow.
  • Proven experience in omni‑channel retail environments with high trading intensity.
  • Strength in data interpretation and insight‑led strategy development.
  • High‑level stakeholder management capability.
  • Energetic, creative, organised and able to execute at pace with a bias for action.
