Job summary

BT is hiring a Head of Licensee Governance in Sydney/Warrane to shape strategy, lead a skilled team and strengthen oversight of licensees and advisers. You will drive data-driven risk intelligence and provide regulatory insight to key decisions with a focus on member and investor outcomes.

This full-time role offers flexible working arrangements with at least two days in the office weekly, based in Sydney or Warrane, Gadigal Country, Australia.

Qualifications

• Deep experience leading licensee governance, wealth, risk, compliance or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of the wealth industry and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams with clear priorities and accountability.
• Confidence engaging with senior leaders, Boards, committees, regulators and industry participants.
• Experience leveraging AI, data and systems thinking to develop risk intelligence and strengthen decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Licensee Governance function and define its strategy.
• Guide a capable team and oversee licensees and advisers.
• Support better financial outcomes for members and investors.
• Use data, systems and AI-enabled insights to develop risk intelligence.
• Identify emerging trends and improve governance and decision making.
