Job summary

Lawyers Weekly is seeking an experienced in-house lawyer in Sydney to join a collaborative team led by a dynamic Director. The role offers variety, genuine work/life balance, and a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

You will handle general commercial disputes, contract drafting and negotiation, and advise on consumer, competition and employment law matters. A minimum of 9+ years' PAE and strong commercial acumen are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9+ years' PAE as a solicitor in-house or equivalent.
• Strong commercial acumen and legal judgement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage general commercial disputes and contract drafting/negotiation.
• Provide consumer, competition and employment law advice.
• Lead, manage and supervise a legal team with collaborative approach.

You will have a minimum of years' PAE, loads of commercial acumen, and enjoy working as part of a high functioning and collaborative in-house team. You will possess excellent communication skills, a solutions driven approach to practising law and the ability to lead, mange and supervise a team.
