The Head of Learning is responsible for the implementation of the College’s strategic agenda to Improve Learning Outcomes, through the overall management of curriculum and assessment for Year 7 to Year 12 within the Learning Area. The Head of Learning (Mathematics) is expected to demonstrate leadership through exemplary teaching practice and to foster creativity. The Head of Learning will contribute to the implementation of the College’s Strategic Plan within the learning area, facilitating a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and better practice. This includes observing and providing feedback in relation to teacher practice in a coaching capacity, to drive continuous improvement.

TheHead of Learning (Mathematics) is a fixed-term Position of Added Responsibility (PAR) reviewed on a three-year cycle with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be offered an ongoing substantive teaching position at the College.
