Job summary

Emmbr is seeking an experienced Head of Information Security to lead a broad cyber security function within a complex technology and business environment. The role involves blending technical security, governance, risk and compliance while guiding an experienced team.

You will work closely with senior leadership to shape security priorities, provide pragmatic guidance, and drive improvements. Melbourne is preferred or Perth, with four days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Broad cyber security leadership experience across security, governance, risk and compliance.
• Ability to lead experienced security professionals and provide informed technical direction.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS or similar frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support an experienced information security team across key priorities.
• Oversee cyber security, risk, governance, compliance and ongoing security improvement.
• Mature security frameworks, policies, standards and controls.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify risk and drive practical security outcomes.
• Provide clear security guidance across projects and business decisions.
• Support ongoing improvement of the organisation's security posture.
