Position: Head of Inclusive Education – Emmaus College, Rockhampton

Start date: January 2026

Employment Status: Full‑time (in conjunction with a permanent teaching role)

Salary Range: $109,391 – $147,515 (dependent on experience)

What we are looking for

Emmaus College, Rockhampton seeks applications from suitably qualified established and aspiring leaders to undertake the middle leadership position of Head of Inclusive Education. This is a Middle Leader position commencing from January 2026, in conjunction with a permanent teaching role at the college.

We seek passionate leaders who will strive for excellence in teaching, administration, professional conduct, relationships with parents and the wider school community and a genuine interest for young people and their learning.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • An ability to develop and lead quality teaching and learning practices in the subject area listed above
  • A willingness to proactively engage with professional development opportunities to enhance quality pedagogy and student outcomes
  • An ability to work in collaboration with the Leadership Team and other staff members to contribute to the future planned growth, development and extra‑curricular life of the College

Emmaus College is a co‑educational Catholic College in the heart of Rockhampton. The College offers a tailored journey designed to support students at pivotal points in their young lives.
