Head of ICT & Digital Services – Full Time (1.0 FTE)

Are you a seasoned ICT leader with a passion for Christian education? Do you believe in the power of technology to enhance teaching, learning, and community engagement?

Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA) is seeking a Head of ICT & Digital Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across our network of seven Christian schools. This permanent full‑time role, based in Midland, will shape and drive SCEA's digital vision to enhance the learning experience and support the flourishing of staff and students.

In this role, you will develop and implement SCEA's ICT and Digital Services Strategy, lead cybersecurity initiatives, and guide the integration of digital tools to support teaching, learning, and administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic ICT Leadership – Develop and execute SCEA's ICT and Digital Services Strategy, aligning with SCEA's vision, mission, and Christian ethos.
  • Digital Governance – Lead the development of standards and frameworks for secure, consistent, and reliable digital ecosystems across SCEA.
  • Cybersecurity & Risk Management – Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity strategies to safeguard staff and student data, ensuring digital safety and privacy compliance.
  • Technology Infrastructure – Provide leadership over ICT infrastructure, including cloud environments, identity management, and device ecosystems.
  • Service Excellence – Lead a culture of high‑quality ICT support services across all schools, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Team Development – Mentor and lead a high‑performing ICT team, building capacity in digital tools, service delivery, and technical innovations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with school leaders, ICT staff, and central office teams to drive digital initiatives and support educational outcomes.

  • Experience in Christian education or values‑driven organisations.
  • Postgraduate qualification in ICT, cybersecurity, leadership, or a related field.
  • Certification in cybersecurity, change management, or service management.
  • Familiarity with contemporary education platforms, cloud‑based environments, and enterprise systems commonly used in school settings.
