About the Role

As Head of HSIE, you will:

  • Provide curriculum leadership and strategic direction across Years 7-12
  • Mentor and support a dedicated team of teachers, fostering collaboration and innovation
  • Model exemplary teaching practices, with the ability to teach HSIE subjects (Legal Studies and Economics highly regarded, though all specialisations welcome)
  • Use data to drive continuous improvement and positive student outcomes
  • Contribute to the broader life of the school community in alignment with Christian values
  • This role carries a leadership level 2 allowance
Skills & Experience
  • NESA accreditation
  • Tertiary qualification in Education (4-year minimum or 75% complete)
  • Proven classroom success with a relational approach to teaching and learning
  • Demonstrated leadership capacity and the ability to inspire and mentor staff
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Commitment to holistic Christian education and student development
