Job summary

MMG's Dugald River operation in Queensland seeks an experienced HSEC&R Manager to lead Health, Safety, Environment, Community and Risk functions across the site.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will deliver strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance and provide governance, leadership and budget oversight. The role offers a bus in, bus out or FIFO roster with supported relocation and local community incentives.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience within the resources sector.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop leaders.
• Experience managing budgets, workforce planning and major programmes.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to HSEC&R function aligned with site objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and drive high performance and collaboration.
• Advise the General Manager on HSEC&R matters with expert guidance.
• Develop and improve site-wide HSEC&R strategies, governance systems.
• Strengthen safety culture and environmental stewardship across the operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, community and risk regulations.
