The Opportunity

An established and rapidly expanding technology business is seeking a Head of FP&A to join during an exciting period of international growth and transformation. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created position will build and lead the FP&A function, providing financial insight, modelling, and analysis to shape strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

This is a hands‑on and highly visible role partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You’ll be instrumental in creating scalable forecasting models, improving reporting capability, and driving a data‑led culture that supports the company’s continued growth trajectory.

The Challenge

  • Establishing and developing the FP&A capability for the business
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling across multiple departments
  • Building company‑wide forecasting models and management reporting frameworks
  • Delivering clear and insightful board and executive reporting
  • Partnering with department heads to influence commercial decisions and drive profitability
  • Providing financial guidance on pricing, product launches, and go‑to‑market strategy
  • Developing dynamic models to support investment analysis and long‑term planning
  • Analysing key SaaS metrics
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insight
  • Building and mentoring a small, high‑performing team as the function matures

The Expertise

  • CA/CPA qualification and tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
