The Provedores in Coffs Harbour seeks an experienced Head of Finance & Technology to join the Executive Leadership Team. This full-time, office-based role combines strategic financial leadership with technology enablement to drive performance and governance across the business.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and digital transformation initiatives, collaborating with the Managing Director and Advisory Board to shape future strategy and ensure sustainable growth.

• Significant senior finance leadership experience within a medium to large organisation.
• Experience in CFO or Head of Finance or equivalent executive finance leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate strategy into results.
• Expertise in financial planning, reporting, governance and compliance.
• Understanding of Australian financial, tax and regulatory requirements.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Finance & Technology (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team in Coffs Harbour.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for the financial health, governance, technology enablement and long-term sustainability of the business. Partnering closely with the Managing Director, Executive Leadership Team and Advisory Board, you will provide commercial insight, drive performance, support strategic decision-making and help shape the future direction of The Provedores.

In addition to leading the finance function, you will play a key role in modernising systems, enhancing business intelligence and driving practical technology and AI initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy, planning and performance of the business

About You

You are an accomplished finance executive who combines strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach. You are confident influencing at executive level, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping businesses grow sustainably.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Significant senior finance leadership experience within a medium to large organisation
• Previous experience as a CFO, Head of Finance or similar executive finance leadership role
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into results
• Expertise in financial planning, reporting, governance and compliance
• Strong understanding of Australian financial, tax and regulatory requirements
• Experience working with Boards, Advisory Boards and executive stakeholders
• Demonstrated capability in systems, reporting and digital transformation initiatives
• A collaborative leadership style aligned to strong organisational values

Highly regarded:

• Experience within wholesale distribution, foodservice, FMCG, logistics or supply chain sectors
• Experience implementing technology, automation or AI-driven business improvements
