Opportunity

As the CEO’s key financial partner, you’ll transform complex data into clear, actionable insights, drive operational and commercial performance, develop go‑to‑market models in collaboration with a global team of subject‑matter experts, and ensure long‑term financial sustainability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and modelling
• Prepare board‑ready reports and dashboards that inform strategic decisions
• Support capital raising, investor relations, and funding strategy
• Drive financial systems optimisation and process improvements
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams
• Strong understanding of the AASB framework and/or the Australian regulatory environment
• Prior experience in a finance function or leading a large complex finance project

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Strong proficiency in Analytical Skills and Finance
• Experience with Budgeting and financial planning
• Exceptional organisational and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in financial management software and tools
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the medical industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CA/CPA qualified)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance roles, ideally within MedTech, innovation or consulting sectors
• Dedicated, detail‑focused team player driven to make a meaningful impact

• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and scaling systems in growth‑phase organisations
• Prior experience in Big Four financial consulting, R&D tax incentives, or audit and financial reporting
