Palmview State Secondary College, part of the Queensland Department of Education, is seeking a Head of Department - Technology to lead curriculum delivery, support teaching excellence and drive positive learning outcomes for students. This role focuses on collaborative leadership, inclusive practices and strategic management of the department’s resources.

The appointed Head of Department will contribute to ongoing professional development and engage with students, families, and external partners

Responsabilidades

• Lead the school department in establishing a shared educational vision focused on achieving quality learning outcomes for all students.
• Promote socially just practices in daily school life and maintain high standards for student and staff performance.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
• Build partnerships with students, parents, government agencies and community groups, while maintaining a strategic and future-focused approach.
• Apply relevant legislation and policies affecting students and staff, and manage the department's human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources to achieve goals.
