Queensland Department of Education, Malanda State High School, is seeking a Head of Department for the Senior School Student Services to co-lead this area in a temporary, 0.4 FTE arrangement.

Reporting to school leadership, you will help drive the improvement agenda across engagement and wellbeing, while line managing support staff and collaborating with families, communities, and government agencies. The role emphasizes inclusive practices and lifelong learning.

Malanda State High School is excited to recruit a Head of Department to co-lead our Senior School Student Services role in a temporary, part-time capacity.

The ideal applicant will assist other school leaders to lead our improvement agenda in the multi-tiered support programs including engagement and wellbeing. This role encompasses the line management of support staff.

Malanda State High School is a rural school catering for approximately 500 students in Years 7 to 12.
