Whats the role

As Head of Credit PNG you’ll lead the credit risk function for one of the most strategically important markets in the Westpac Pacific portfolio. Based in Port Moresby you’ll oversee credit decisions across retail, commercial, corporate and treasury segments, ensuring the portfolio remains strong, resilient and aligned with our risk appetite.

You’ll lead a team of credit professionals fostering a high‑performance culture grounded in sound judgement, collaboration and continuous development. Reporting to the Head of Risk PNG you’ll also play a key role in the PNG Extended Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy, regulatory engagement and enterprise‑wide risk governance.

This is a full‑time senior leadership role with significant influence and visibility across the business. You’ll be empowered to shape credit strategy, drive portfolio quality and lead with purpose in a fast‑evolving market.
