SEARMS Community Housing Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a senior leader to drive corporate governance, systems and strategy across the organisation. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Corporate will shape policy, risk, HR and stakeholder reporting to support the long-term sustainability and community outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tenants and communities.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Corporate is a senior leadership position responsible for strengthening SEARMS' corporate, governance and organisational systems. The role will work closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, staff, Board and external stakeholders and will have oversight across key corporate functions.
SEARMS is an Aboriginal Community Housing Provider supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities across Southern NSW and the ACT region. We are looking for a highly organised and capable leader who can operate strategically while remaining comfortable working across the practical requirements of a growing community organisation.
You will bring strong corporate governance and organisational capability, sound judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across staff, community, government, regulators and partners.
Experience within community housing, Aboriginal organisations, the not-for-profit sector, government or another regulated service environment will be highly regarded.
An understanding of Aboriginal community-controlled organisations and a demonstrated commitment to culturally safe and respectful ways of working are important to this role.
