Job summary

Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga seeks a Head of Boarding for St. Francis de Sales Regional College, Leeton, commencing 2027. The role leads boarding operations, supports student wellbeing and academics, and upholds Catholic values in a supportive environment.

It is a full-time, ongoing appointment with housing, relocation assistance, and a 76-hour fortnight schedule (Mon–Fri, no weekend duties). Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the ethos and values of a Catholic boarding community.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and build team capacity.
• Understanding of holistic needs of secondary students and boarding impact.
• A current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership to manage St Francis De Sales Boarding College efficiently, effectively and economically.
• Liaise with day school staff and support wellbeing and academic care.
• Drive community leadership and strategic direction within boarding.
• Oversee boarding operations and ensure a nurturing, safe environment for students.
• Report to the Principal of St Francis De Sales College.
