Job summary

NAB seeks a Head of Asset Allocation to lead strategic and tactical asset allocation across diversified wealth portfolios and to influence capital market assumptions and currency strategy for better investment outcomes. You will be a trusted voice for advisers and clients on markets and investment strategy.

You will develop market insights, lead a high‑performing team, contribute to CIO Office investment committees and continually improve portfolio modelling and analytics to serve clients more

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in asset allocation and portfolio construction.
• Strong modelling and investment risk capabilities.
• Proven leadership of investment teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Extensive experience with macroeconomic analysis and market drivers.

In the role of Head of Asset Allocation, you will work closely with our Private Wealth & JBWere team, contributing to key business priorities, member of CIO Office investment committeesand continuously improving how we serve our clients.

You’ll make an impact each day by:

• Lead a high performing team across strategic and tactical asset allocation across diversified portfolios
• Develop capital market assumptions, benchmark frameworks and currency strategy
• Drive macroeconomic research and portfolio construction decisions
• Enhance portfolio modelling, analytics and investment infrastructure capabilities
• Deliver market insights through adviser briefings, publications and client engagement

You’ll bring to this role:

• Deep expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction and capital markets
• Advanced quantitative and analytical capabilities across modelling and investment risk
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics and market drivers
• Proven leadership experience developing high-performing investment teams.
• Significant experience across portfolio management, research or investment strategy
