This role is responsible for designing the digital marketing campaigns strategy and planning for new customer acquisition by aligning with SBU product leaders on media and above-the-line marketing goals, targets, and ongoing performance review/optimisation. It will also manage agency partners and support the promotion of partner offers as required.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategy, Execution and Operations
- Develop and execute strategies for digital media and above-the-line (ATL) marketing focused on new customer acquisition.
- Align marketing plans with SBU product leaders to ensure consistency in goals, metrics, and outcomes.
- Drive performance marketing initiatives and regularly review campaign effectiveness to optimise results.
- Lead the planning and delivery of integrated acquisition campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Work with internal stakeholders and data teams to ensure acquisition activities are insight-led and targeted.
- Support partner offer promotion initiatives, including coordination with product and distribution teams.
- Maintain brand consistency while optimising creative and media across all acquisition channels.
- Manage relationships with external media and creative agencies to deliver campaign objectives.
- Negotiate and oversee agency contracts, service levels, and performance.
- Ensure external partners are aligned to campaign KPIs and brand objectives.
- Ensure acquisition budgets are well planned, allocated, and tracked to deliver ROI and efficiency.
- Provide regular reporting on acquisition performance and spend effectiveness to senior stakeholders.
Leadership & Organisation
- Lead a high-performing acquisition marketing team focused on delivery, agility, and commercial outcomes.
- Foster a test-and-learn culture that drives continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness.
- Support capability development across the marketing function in performance and data-driven marketing.
- Collaborate with technology, analytics, and CX teams to enable optimised acquisition journeys and capabilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in direct acquisition marketing, preferably in financial services or similarly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of digital media, ATL campaigns, and integrated marketing planning.
- Demonstrated success in managing agency relationships and delivering results through partners.
- Experience working in matrix organisations with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work across customer lifecycle stages, with a focus on acquisition and performance.
- Commercially focused with a strong performance and results mindset.
- Collaborative and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Confident communicator, capable of influencing at senior levels.
- Creative thinker, always seeking new ways to drive acquisition performance.
- Strong attention to detail and operational rigour.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
