Job summary

Pleasure Club at Sydney, a late-night, high-energy venue, seeks a hands-on Venue Manager to lead operations under Odd Culture Group. You’ll manage floor and bar teams, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high standards of service, safety and compliance.

Role requires nights/weekends, strong leadership, and a passion for nightlife culture. You’ll work with an experienced leadership team to shape the venue’s ongoing success.

Qualifications

• Experience as Venue Manager or strong Assistant Venue Manager in busy bars or late-night venues.
• Experience leading high-energy, high-volume hospitality teams.
• Strong understanding of cocktails, spirits and beverage service.
• Highly organized with strong operational capabilities behind the scenes.
• Must be comfortable working nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead busy late-night services with confidence, energy and a calm head.
• Build, coach and develop a strong bar and floor team.
• Create a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Oversee daily venue operations, including rostering, labour and service flow.
• Drive exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with beverage, events and group leadership teams.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and development within your team.
• Ensure licensing, RSA compliance and responsible service practices.
