Job summary

Workday Australia is seeking a Solution Consultant specialising in Workforce Management and Payroll to support the Sales team with expert product demonstrations and design specifications.

You will influence executive stakeholders and partner with customers to advance deals, travel up to 50% and contribute to successful deployments across businesses using Workday HR, payroll and planning solutions.

• Deliver technical product presentations, demos, workshops, and seminars.

• Support closure of opportunities by addressing questions on our solution, services, and training.
• Assist in qualification of prospects, demo criteria, proof of concept builds, and closure plans.
• Support sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.
• Assist sales in responding to RFxs.
• Participate in discovery sessions with sales to understand current processes and future state.
• Provide ERP-product knowledge to support sales and customers during demonstrations and presentations.

About The Role

As a Solution Consultant specialising in Workforce Management and Payroll, you are essential to the sales cycle and play an important role on the Sales team. You will use your subject matter expertise in the domain to provide support to the Sales team and help drive the sale by providing influence and credibility to C-level executives.

If you are a proven presales Workforce Management and Payroll consultant and have strong functional knowledge and experience gained through roles such as payroll practitioner, HCM enterprise solution Pre-Sales / Sales Payroll Consultant, and/or have a background in payroll application implementation, we’d love to speak to you.

Responsibilities include:

• The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
• Crafts detailed design and implementation specifications for sophisticated products/applications/solutions.
• To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.
• To support the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans.
• Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.
• To assist sales in the response to RFxs
• Participate in discovery sessions alongside sales to ask qualifying questions and understand struggles, current business processes, and ideal future state
• Uses in-depth ERP-product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Ability to travel 50+% of the time.

About You

You are an exceptional, dynamic presenter with excellent communication and influencing skills, specifically to a C-level Human Resources leadership audience.

• You’re a subject matter expert when it comes to payroll and workforce management
• As a plus, you’re also knowledgeable about HCM enterprise solutions and HCM
• You’re passionate about Workday and believe that businesses and organisations can advance and grow by adopting Workday solutions
