• Minimum 5 years experience
• OH&S Induction card (White Card)
• Work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Drive heavy vehicles with tipper bodies, concrete plant, trailers and equipment
• Ensure trucks and equipment are ready; perform basic maintenance and document results
• Float plant machinery
• Maneuver trucks for loading/unloading
• Follow truck rules and Eifers procedures
• Wash equipment and maintain professional image
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities
• Complete daily delivery documents
• Prioritize safety and quality; aim for zero loss or damage

Eifers is a family-owned Australian company with 23 years experience in civil construction across the Melbourne Metropolitan Area. We are looking for a fit, motivated, and well-presented HC driver to undertake regular Melbourne, metro & regional deliveries as required.

Key responsibilities

Drive heavy vehicles fitted with tipper bodies, concrete plant, trailers, and associated equipment

Ensure operational readiness of trucks and equipment, complete basic maintenance and related documentation

Float various plant machinery

Manoeuvre trucks into loading and unloading positions

Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) and Eifers policies and procedures

Wash equipment to prevent debris, damage and maintain a professional image of quality

Coordinate machine actions with other activities

Complete daily delivery documents

Focus on safety and quality, adhere to a goal of zero loss or damage and maintain accountability for your own actions

About you

Minimum 5 years experience

OH&S Induction card (White Card)

Work with minimal supervision

Great work ethic and can-do attitude

Motivated, well organised, punctual, and pleasantly mannered

Aware of and able to follow the requirements of the QSE Management System

Full time work with a great hourly rate paid above the Award

Applicable allowances and opportunities for overtime
