Job summary

Novacoast Transport Services in Cardiff NSW is seeking experienced HC & MC Truck Drivers to join our Newcastle-based team. This full-time role focuses on safe, on-time transport of goods across our distribution network, with regular Monday to Friday hours and occasional overtime.

You will hold a current HC or MC license with at least 1 year of heavy-vehicle experience, perform pre-trip inspections, log deliveries accurately, load/unload, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Current HC or MC license with at least 1 year of heavy vehicle experience.
• Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices.
• Willing to obtain a DG license; company will assist you if successful.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy combination vehicles (HC/MC) to transport goods.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain delivery records and logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Restrain loads securely and comply with regulations.
